Keep soaking up the information on this site and make sure to start attending meetups in your local area. 

So I'll be a sponge for a bit and soak up everything of value I can to better prepare myself going forward and reduce my chances of failure.

I am aware of offering my buyer value on his purchase and that's something I'm going to strive for once I get my first deal and any deals after that.I won't be jumping into this blind there's still many months of me soaking in information and learning.

The water soaked into the concrete slab the house sat on as well as had major roof leaks (been vacant and decaying since 2013 after all), since the roof needed to be completely repaired (this property was in disarray lol).

I'm here to basically soak up as much information as possible while creating great connections in the industry.

Be wise and patient starting off and soak up as much knowledge as possible.

I've been bouncing around here for a few months trying to soak up info and am looking to do the same type of buy and hold investments.  

At this point I'm trying to soak up as much as I can and figure out a starting point.

What I feel I need is a mentor that's based out of NY to bounce ideas from and soak up some knowledge.
