Thanks Elizabeth,Sounds like you have figured out very well what you would like to do and I appreciate the suggestion to be specific about my interests.My internship allows me several months in the area, but I am ultimately looking for opportunities that would allow for an almost completely automated business in the long run, but it seems that there are many means to that end.I am currently fascinated by empty lot flipping, adding value to multifamily houses based on artificial appreciation as a means of making chunks of change to reinvest.

If not I would STRONGLY encourage you to find another local bakery in the area and work for them or do an internship where you help out the owner for a few weeks in return for learning the trade.I have decades of restaurant and food experience before getting into commercial real estate.

lol.....this past summer i Ended up getting a internship at a HUD REO asset management company which i really enjoyed because i got to learn the basics of the RE industry. well i guess they liked me enough too because i got hired on full time!

Then I caught the bug… been wondering why I never paid attention to Real Estate until recently.I had some experience on the public side through several internships (dealing with stocks and bonds)… In college I took grant/loans and re-invested in stocks & bonds (probably shouldn’t say this here J).But Real Estate seems fun.
