Hello, biggerpockets! My name is Benjamin Carver. I am living out of dfw area, working toward my bachelors in Business Entrepreneurship. I've been interested in investing, specifically REI, since my Sophomore year of high school. I've developed a strong passion for house flipping, business startups and multi-family acquisition. I am also currently saving my way toward the purchase of my first house hack. Aside from my desire for early financial freedom, I love real estate because it's something that benefits everyone - the seller, the buyer and even the community. I realize I am still very young, which only means I have tons of experience and wisdom to gain. I am eagerly seeking an arrangement that allows me to work and learn from someone who knows the ins and outs of real estate investing. I'm a quick learner, extremely hard working and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve success! So who's ready to strike a deal and invest in me?

If you want to get into flips and rehabs, go get a job for a contractor. Biggest challenge we face is finding employees who are motivated and eager to learn. Learn as much as you can about construction and estimating rehabs. Stay away from hanging sheetrock learn electric, plumbing, hvac.

You could even run with a carpentry crew for a little to learn how to frame, tile do windows and doors.

The more skilled you get at trades the more cash you'll make to fund deals quicker. Plus you'll know how to estimate and fix them up.
