From what I understand HOA/POA dues don't get wiped out with foreclose sale in FL, so if you see a $150,000 condo get sold for $50,000, could you still owe $100,000 in back HOA dues and special assessments?   

It's just a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom so not a multi-unit unfortunately.

In Chicago you request a CHA Burden sheet and that gross number minus utility allowance will be what you get in addition to making sure bedroom size is adequate.  

The county the property is located in requires 250 gallons of capacity for every bedroom, so 2x 2 bedrooms would have to be on a 1000 gallon tank.

If you know the 2 bedroom median rent in the area, population trends and the last time rent was raised that's helpful too

What type of properties are you seeking; SFH, Condos, Townhomes, Duplexes, 3/4 plex, ect.  

It's a 4 bedroom SFH for $325k, built in 1990 and it's got many upgrades including a 2024 roof.
