I'm in my mid-twenties working in NYC and work as a Project Manager for a GC and would like to move from Brooklyn to Jersey to kick off my journey, while in close proximity to work in Midtown.

That continued through my teens and young twenties and I’d always say how I wanted to marry a man who wants to do the same so we can have a family business and not work for “the man.”

My goal is to cash flow 10k a month by the time I turn forty currently I am in my mid-twenties If you were I what would you do?

You could do twenty between the two of you.

I am a lender and I come across plenty of people well into their late twenties and early thirties who don't know the first thing about buying or financing a house.

Id say the majority who buy in them are aged 30-50, married with high incomes, and are just past the point in their lives you are in in your twenties and used to live in downtown in 500 sq foot apartments. 

Having dealt with smokers who dont think butts are trash and twenty something slobs I empathise, your best bet is get them out.

I’m in my mid twenties so ideally one of my friends who I’d partner with would only live in it for a few years then we could both get cash flow.
