I came across BiggerPockets as a referral from a friend, and have since began listening to the podcasts, reading the books, attending webinars, and watching youtube videos that they have been putting out.

The fall/winter seasons are when more aggressive deals are done as sellers are more serious about getting out, you can set your watch to this behavior every year. 

I watched what I could today of the MFH webinar and really feel like that is a great niche to get into. 

I heard a story a couple of years ago about a lady who cash out refi'ed $100k out of a free and clear rental around 2004 for personal expenses. 

And truthfully nobody watches over your finances like you would.  

Nobody will do a better job than someone in the family, and the money stays in the family.My cleaning lady does the work for free, plus I get to sleep with her.

Hello everybody,I'm 17 and my dad has been getting me into finances and real estate investing lately and I feel like I'm pretty far ahead of the curve so far (after watching BP podcasts on the way to school every morning.)

I guess we just keep watching and listening and hope someone else learns the lessons the hard way!!
