New to the Scene - Introduction
Good evening everyone! I am new to the community and REI as a whole. I'm currently going through the Ultimate Guide to Real Estate Investing and soaking up everything I can. I watched what I could today of the MFH webinar and really feel like that is a great niche to get into. I'm looking for passive income to hopefully one day replace my working income (I'm a painting contractor). My local market is very saturated so I think I'm going to need to look outside of the area.
Would anyone encourage or discourage me from doing this to start out? Should I focus on local deals that I can get eyes on?
I will continue to read, watch, and listen to everything REI I can get my hands on. Thank you for your replies and I look forward to being a contributor to the BP Forum.
