What makes my mortgage company not liable for injuries in my home?

Especially, when I see sites like Airbnb/VRBO offer hosts protection of liability insurance of up to $1 million USD to protect against third party claims for personal injury or property damage; so that makes me feel more comfortable just listing on Airbnb/VRBO with the condo unit under my name.Thank you!

Tenant injury, sewer back up, fire, hail, rain storm damage, wind damage.

However due to a work related injury, I'm currently on FMLA at my job only receiving 66% of my regular income without tax withholding until at least April 2019.  

People lived there and caused damage and I'm to just repair it like that is normal.My Administration monthly contact who checks in with me was also aware that I was healing from a hip injury from overwork the last 3-1/2 years while my husband suffered a complete collapse when a medication his doctor prescribed for carpal tunnel caused by a heavy work load at his place of employment resulted in nerve damage in 2018. 

I want to invest but currently I can't drive due to my knee injury.

Hey again all, returning to this forum again after an extended period of time due to three factors; personal physical injury, a economic nightmare downturn in my industry and the self-loathing that seemed to creep up on me due to both.
