My rough estimate for rehab for resale (minus foundation I know nothing about) is at least 23K.Tell me what else you need to know...I have more info...I can't imagine paying over 20k for this house, maybe less if resale is the goal.

Hello, I am seriously considering buying a house that has some foundation blocks shifting only in one corner of the house.

I've only brought an engineer in on 1 deal ever, and that is because the guy I was wholesaling the deal to started to flake out when he saw the cracks in the foundation.

From your description, I can assume that this is an elevated foundation.

How are the mechanicals, roof, foundation, water heater, etc.?

You need a foundation to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak.

I've called a structural engineer to make sure it wasn't a foundation issue and he did say this was not a foundation issue, but more a cosmetic issue.
