Sloping floors in basement...Need some help please

Hello, I am about to purchase a house with sloping floors in the basement. Half of the basement is sloping to one side and it is evenly sloping. I've called a structural engineer to make sure it wasn't a foundation issue and he did say this was not a foundation issue, but more a cosmetic issue. So, knowing this, I put down 3k in earnest money, but I heard this is not easy to fix because the basement is finished. That one side will have to go up at least 4 inches to be level with everything else and it might mean tearing out the bathroom and redoing the whole furnace and everything from what a contractor was saying. I'm not sure if he just doesn't have experience, but does anyone know how to solve this issue? I had another guy say just lay some self leveling and made it sound easy.. Please help. Thanks.

If it's not a structural issue, you need to decide if the cost to fix will be recouped on sale, or will buyers be okay with issue (assuming you hand them the engineering report that says there is nothing structurally wrong)?

How much would not fixing affect your sale price? How much will it cost to fix? It's all about the numbers...
