So the deal itself is what I'd consider, it would have to be pretty amazing, something that I couldn't necessarily get in my home country.After that I would research how stable the country's economy, currency, political system, financing, tax situation, landlord-tenant laws, and regulations are for businesses.Next would be the general research that we would do for any prospective city we're investing in.

The fact that you can only put 20% down on a property, less with certain loans but still get 100% of the increased equity as property values rises over time is a signifiant advantage over other investment vehicles such as stocks, crypto, etc.
