For stories that are covered worldwide (US presidential elections, the Olympics, etc), you will already sort of know what the story is, which can help you fill in the gaps.If you get any TV channels (satellite or cable) in your target language, watch them with the closed captions turned on.If you are very familiar with any religious writings (like the Bible, Torah, Koran, Bhagavad Gita, or anything else), look up a version of that in the target language. 

Hello BP,I use Quickbooks online for my drafting business & was wondering how self-employed people set up their books for their personal finances, personal business & a rental, or two, or ten...I was told Quickbooks online does not have the ability to setup multiple entities like the desktop version does.  

We provided them a heavily redacted version and they seemed to take it.

The other 75 percent are versions of bad.

We had been using the desktop version of QuickBooks for two decades, and we muddled through with the basics well enough.

For our student renters we have a simple version with appliance and other manuals, beach rules, inventory (house is furnished) in a binder.
