Many of you reading this were probably unaware that the Fed actually bailed out whole Countries with your precious tax dollars, including Mexico, Scotland, and many, many more.

My HUD region is Texas and New Mexico.

Albuquerque New Mexico....for 250K... you can have a nice 2000 sq ft home in the NE heights, or how about a all brick home 2000 sqft or in rio rancho something new/old on 1/2 acre lot......or 125 acres of trees sunset and coyotes.......

I purchased in the North End years ago (like you, long distance from Vancouver) and had all kinds of problems with tenants and the PM (long story involving Mexico, cocaine, and a bunch of my money disappearing plus, as a bonus, a standoff with police that was bad enough that it made the national news at the time).

I plan to become a real estate investor that buys and holds on to turn-key properties in the mid-west and in Tijuana Mexico.

And this is global: Germany 5.3%, India 7.6%, Mexico 7.3%, Brazil 10%, Russia 8.4% (and then the catastrophic inflation in Turkey 36% and Argentina 51%)!
