STRs - How are yours doing this summer?

Curious to hear how your Short-Term rentals are doing this summer, now that many states are in various stages of reopening.

We have two properties that I self-manage.

One in New Hampshire on a lake about 30 minutes NW of Portsmouth. Bookings for NH came in much later this year, but when they did, we filled up quickly.

Other is in Provincetown, MA on Cape Cod. Pre-COVID, I was fully booked for the summer in Ptown by early Feb. but then the cancellations came in Mar/Apr. Right now, I’m seeing new interest in bookings and inquiries. Have about 4 weeks remaining in Jul/Aug now and I expect those all to book. I did have to adjust pricing a bit and switch to 5-night minimums to attract interest.

All of our bookings are Airbnb, VRBO, or direct with me through friends / word of mouth.

How are yours looking this summer?
