They're cheap and can be repainted with white appliance paint by Rust Oleum.

Plus, the next tenants may hate the artwork on the wall and you will have to repaint over anyway.

Within two months we got the tenant (no longer with daycare income) out, recapetted and repainted inside and rented for about $650.Within the next year we got a new roof (plus some cash in pocket) due to a windstorm.

I havebeen reading up on it and it seems there is no easy fix but to scrape, prep, prime and repaint the plaster ceilings all over...So I now have 5 ceilings that are a complete mess peeling flaking ETC...HAs anyone else been through this nightmare before?

If the cedar wood is all good except for a couple of boards then buying a few boards and repaint, caulk, and seal makes sense.

I would ask myself: Do I want to be responsible for repainting ever three to five years or residing every twenty to thirty?

But please correct me if im wrong 2 bedrooms needs repainting (they are currently colored bedrooms) as well as the ceiling in the living room.

Too many variables on actual cost (unless you are doing very similar units in a very similar market).....and I've seen quite wide ranges on some lifespan numbers too, but you can get rough ideas on how long a roof should last on average...an appliance.....re-paint....carpet etc.....So I would use the % as a good start and you can always get more detailed analysis IF it passes the first analysis
