If you've been on here for a while now I'm sure you've seen the many great resources that are available.If you're looking to network or chat, besides the resources and connections here on BP, I'd also recommend attending a local real estate group such as Black Diamond REI in Mass. or RIREIG in RI.Also with your design and aesthetics background you might try networking with some stagers as you probably have a lot in common :)

Hey guys, looking for an agent in the Fairfield, CT area to purchase a multi family property for my brother to stay in while he attends grad school.

Hi All - I'm based in Boston but planning to attend the Atlanta Multi Family Seminar in Atlanta July 21-22.

It’s a unit I purchased next to the university for him to live in while attending school and we rent the spare room out.

If you're buying in CT (or anywhere else for that matter), consider attending local REI meetings.

I attended their last public meeting, and it doesn't look like they will be banning it altogether as many cities have done.

That and I just really love creating and being hands-on.I've attended one REIA meeting here in Austin, where my wife and I picked up a few new tricks and local lender referrals, but I'm looking to make more connections here on BP.

I am rarely able to attend local REIA meetings because of my schedule at my Goldman Sachs.

Also, since you just relocated to the area, consider finding local REI clubs via Meetup website and start attending them to network with other RE investors.Good luck!
