New Member in RI/MA Looking to Connect

Hi everyone!

I'm a new member from the Rhode Island / Southeastern Mass area, though I've been following Bigger Pockets for a while now.

I'm very eager to get started in real estate investing, and I have been on the lookout for deals for the last few months and getting an understanding of the local market. 

My short-term goal is to get into flipping. I'd love connect and network with others here on BP who may not have a lot of time on their hands, and needs someone who is willing to put in the work and get their hands dirty! I'm currently a freelance designer, and I have a lot of extra time that I'd love to devote to this. I bring an eye for aesthetics, a knack for finding high-end materials at a great price and negotiating, great organizational and project management skills.

Meg, welcome to Bigger Pockets! If you've been on here for a while now I'm sure you've seen the many great resources that are available.

If you're looking to network or chat, besides the resources and connections here on BP, I'd also recommend attending a local real estate group such as Black Diamond REI in Mass. or RIREIG in RI.

Also with your design and aesthetics background you might try networking with some stagers as you probably have a lot in common :)
