I'm looking in the "safe" areas of Canton, Patterson Park, Upper Fells, and Butchers Hill locations popular with young professionals and healthcare employees.  

I have an interest in residential assisted living as a healthcare worker and I have listened to several podcasts on RAL and it sounds like a great investment that helps people in need How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

We didn’t go into details, they were clients from my healthcare job so not a lot of time with them.

There's a lot of traveling healthcare professionals that want to find a place that's cheaper than the stipend so they can pocket the rest, adding to their pay.

I've also been thinking of ways that medical students can: speed up loan pay down/achieve cash flow during school and provide affordable housing solutions to healthcare students.

I am hard pressed to think of a industry more stable and recession proof than healthcare.

Your rent might keep up with inflation and increased taxes to allow you to keep your current life style, but what about when you get older and need healthcare?

Something directly applicable to your situation is that I personally worked in healthcare for many years before retiring to be a full time investor.
