You might end up with a cool textured wall that could be the designer touch of 2017.  

The final sand will not be done until after the ceiling texture is complete (this can be a messy process, drips, overspray, etc).The first side is getting textured today, the second side the day or two after the first.

Some of the walls were old with a sandy texture so I skim coated and sanded them myself.

Developing a track record takes time but that can be enhanced with purposeful creation of your own business web site, blogging, podcasts, newsletters, books, networking events, etc.

@Robert Lindsley - it's not good at all.First of all, pictures must be flattering, use some simple enhancing - light, cropping etc.
