The arts district & waterfront (tourists).

As a tourist-driven area, there are several cities that have big codes regulating and restricting (some even have zones with different restrictions based on residential density), but some are very open to STR and like the business!

Huntsville, if land there is worth anything (tourists, vacation properties) there are some nice options.I know that I posted vaguely about this in the past, but this latest issue has sparked my interest.If anybody here has ever completed a tax sale in ontario I'd love to discuss it.

If it's STR look at national parks and beaches and try to find an area that has multiple tourist seasons( Like Lake Tahoe or parts of CO)

Furthermore, Airbnb caters primarily to tourists, and during bad economic times, fewer people go on vacation.

Raleigh had 15.8 Million Tourists in 2021.

I have friends in other markets in FL that are doing very well with Airbnb that are not near any major tourist destination.

You could go both ways, live in a high-cost tourist area or in a low-cost area. 

With this being said there are thousands of tourists spots in new England alone that do just that.

Of course Boeing  Volvo  MBZ moving there and spending billions did not hurt.. as well as the number 1 tourist destination in the mid south
