Here in Florida the process is very easy and you can resume it to 4 steps:1.- Draft and Serve Three-Day Notice.A landlord must serve a Three-Day Notice demanding payment of rent or possession of the premises within three (3) days.

Worst case you own it for a very long time and have a return that has gone up as rents increase and based on the original purchase price, end up being good.It also sounds like these places are selling at below replacement value so when building resumes, and buyers are paying more, then your place will increase along with it.You will have a write-off so that is helpful.
