Most of the flippable housing stock around SD is 50's to 70's vintage stuff ... unless someone has been caring for it along the way, it'll be both functionally obsolete AND neglected.

The good thing is that if the tub fails due to poor workmanship, it will usually fail within a year. anything longer than that consider your self lucky.In your situation I would recommend refinishing the tub and try to rent out your place to some hipsters that are looking for the vintage look.
