So, if I were in this position, I'd take a good bit of time to explore what epic undertaking could provide a challenge for the next several years -- and provide really fulfilling outcomes to as many people as possible along the way, as well as when complete. 

Finding exciting "work" is fulfilling and rewarding, and keeps us mentally young and stimulated.

Amazon is building a large fulfillment center right now which will bring 1k to 2k new jobs soon. 

The main thing is to make sure you allow enough time to fulfill the business plan.

However, with that being said, if personally gaining this knowledge gave this investor fulfillment or a renewed empowered sense of control - to them it might be very worth it.   

And I use people that are licensed and insured to protect my neck if the contractor doesn't fulfill their duty.

I’m currently in a situation where a borrower may not fulfill our agreement and could potentially lose my investment.

Your agent should be paid their commission since they fulfilled their end of the listing contract.

I appreciate the reminder of keeping the ultimate goal in mind because, when we don't, we can easily lose our way or find ourselves less than fulfilled.
