Anyone could have done this, but not enough small-scale real estate investors were willing to do the thankless, unpaid researching it typically entails.The basis of the three- and four-fold appreciation of my target area in the last ten years is largely due to the expiration of that tax scheme.

Another difference I've seen is the number of people who respond to the mail piece only to tell you to take them off your list is several fold higher in the Bay Area than in other markets I'm familiar with.
