Any of you investors investing in this area and would like to meet up for coffee or dinner?

I once accidentally bought a lobster at dinner for $180 at market price, so I’m guy shy about getting into bed with a lender who can’t offer me a hard number.

I've been thinking this weekend about something I heard someone say about the cost of something over time.It was something about purchasing a home with a mortgage, and having the total amount of money paid for that home over the life of the mortgage equal to more than 2.5 TIMES the so-called purchase price.This is a fundamental (and common) mistake about how money works.That's like saying that the dinner with my spouse didn't cost $100, but $2,000 because if I invested that money at 10% annually, compounded monthly for 30 years, it would be worth $2,000.While it's true that spending money now that isn't necessary, means the forfeiting of some larger value in the future.

I had dinner with two of my clients last night.they have right at 100 doors. 

A personal rule of thumb is that there needs to be enough room at the dinner table and seating in the living area for everyone that you accommodate.

You know, when most people are going home to their families for dinner... that's the time I'm taking to go do an estimate.

I don't really like multi-fams that much anymore because of the nature of the asset class, with rare exceptions, apartment dwellers tend to be higher turnover which = more expenses= more work= less profit.I would rather drive 3-6 hrs round trip & be home for dinner than fly to the Midwest or Texas (been there) & spending a week in a hotel taking care of issues.To be fair, this just my personal opinion based on my experiences.

Invite them to lunch, dinner, coffee, or for beers and pick their brains. 2) Check out local "Events" (Real Estate Classifieds section of the forums on the left hand side of your screen here) and show up and network. 3) Set up a keyword alert for "DFW" or "Dallas" or "Fort Worth" / "Ft Worth" and get a notification - either here on BP and/or via email for those whenever they are talked about on the forums.

100 doors by the end of 2025 is the goal - and it will be met Well then my friend, how about 1st to 💯 gets a steak dinner?

Maybe your kid needs a ride to soccer tonight, or you're going to Scott's house for dinner, or you got sucked into some funny social media videos.
