I have time off work now and I am thinking about signing up for Habitat for Humanity.

Church groups, food banks, utility assistance programs, shelters and organizations like Habitat for Humanity are good partners in this arena.

Don't forget Habitat ReStore - sometimes you can pick up a keyed set for a few bucks.

He used FB Marketplace, Rooms to Go, Wayfair, and there's a Habitat for Humanity Re-store on Rt. 41 in Fort Myers that has a ton of furniture/decor, etc. ; it's hit or miss, but you might try it.

And also, rats are easy to deal with: they live where they like it - take away the habitat and their food source, they will leave. 

I would personally check liquidators and wholesaling floor an tile marts in the area.For cabinets though, look up your local Habitat for Humanity Restore.

Perhaps you could donate it to a  non profit like habitat for humanity.
