And it is perfectly acceptable to have the living room/kitchen with one decoration style (coastal) and bedrooms with different styles (kids game room like what @Dave Stokley has done, and perhaps a bedroom that is more elegant such as with a 4 post bed.  

There are definitely some elements of Mardi Gras themes in a lot of the STRs in our area but it seems like most are going with a "simple elegance" theme in their listings and I agree having a more colorful theme would make us stand out more.

I like your vibe and the 50s 60s 70's mid century rustic vibe is such an elegant look.

Every property is different and some might not be suitable for solar panels but for the ones that are elegible I shared a post about the return you can get from installing solar on multifams in the Innovative Strategies forum.

Heck, even $500k RVs are generally produced a solid 15 years behind the trends because their older audience prefers those styles, and manufactured homes are about 8 years behind--they'll still be making distressed shiplap 5 years from now even as everyone else goes to more elegant wood slats or more rustic bits that look like they were just hewn off a tree. 

I have utmost respect for this personality, and they deserve every dollar plus that they make, I have no intention of it though, doesn't fit my elegantly lazy personality.

It's an older, otherwise neglected single family in an upscale neighborhood of elegant but similarly aged and well-kept properties.I would like take on the project.

I hate to use cash, but if push comes to shove we could just buy it.Anyone ever come up with an elegant or easy way to do this?
