The reason I decided to pay them (which wasn't much, less than $40 including chocolate for the cashiers) was that they were able to follow my guide lines using their system avoiding hours of online research and sifting through properties I wasn't interested in, and starting the relationship building with the ladies at the county office.

You can also ask the other units' tenants whether they recall seeing any carpet cleaning vans around the time in question - if they recall the cleaning company name, contact the company in person with a box of chocolates to get a copy of the invoice.

I came home and switched my treats from being fresh flowers from the super market and reasonably expensive store bought chocolates to being freshly roasted coffee beans from a local coffee shop down the street and homemade ice cream from a local award winning ice cream shop up the street or freshly baked croissant from the French bakery around the corner.
