I was completely blindsided, not to mention that I'm financially responsible for repair of these lines that run through the woods.I'm considering going after the seller for the cost of upgrading the poles to the location and quality necessary for the utility to "adopt" them.  

I was totally blindsided and I don't know if I have any recourse or way to expedite things so that the bank can re-score and get my credit scores back to what they were when they initially prequalified me.

I just don't want to be blindsided.

We are closer to a top than a bottom but usually real tops blindside people.  

The initial 10k budget would be for the major items within the unit that would need to be upgraded or touched up; with a motive to prevent any blind sided costs that could possibly happen down the line.

The more thorough you are during the inspection, the better chance you have of not being blindsided halfway through the project.Good luck with everything. 

Don't forget to calculate those tax & insurance figures--- in your situation the lender won't likely require escrows, and the last thing you want is to be blindsided by these outlays once a year or quarterly.   

You don't want to be blindsided when you own the property. 

hello, i am researching and feel like NC would be a great spot to buy a single fam then move to the state perm. i know the market is nuts now but i want to get some feedback on what i can expect to happen so this way im not blind sided. 195k cash, 100k for a DP + closing cost + 10k in light rehab, Goal= 6% cocr after 10% PM, 6% vacancy 10% capex/repairs.
