I just apologized and said I didn't know about the ghost dog because what else could I say. 

I would say this to the guest: Hey [Guest Name], we do want to (again) sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the bites!!!

Another newbie question here so I apologize in advance.

The apology is a little late. 

So if I'm off-base, I certainly apologize to you all and will have to apologize to her... otherwise, I'm going to have to make 100% certain that this interpretation is correct before I speak with her again. 

My apologize if I am on the wrong platform. 

When I nicely threatened them with a lawsuit, they didn’t budge and the VP of property management apologized several times and said: “I tell my staff, every time we have an eviction, we look like idiots”.
