We got a older craftsman style home in a very desirable neighborhood, filled with homes like this one.

I do have a craftsman bungalow that has painted wall paper in it (happened several times before we owned it).

Everyday life took priority and aside from doing a little reading on the net and watching a few instructional videos, I never pursued it.Now, a deal has dropped into my lap; a deal that was under my nose, unrecognized, for the last four to five months.Long story short, I rented a small, one story craftsman with rent much below market value.

The SF is a beautiful craftsman and is in turn-key condition with clean tenants.

My business partner and I operate an 6 bedroom Craftsman house as a vacation rental here in the "hot" part of Seattle, it is has been going very well!  

Don't want to bust your bubble - - you did a marvelous job - -but having lived in SoCal almost all my life, I think you've got a Bungalow, not a Craftsman. 

I'd probably want to do a craftsman style grid if I do put new windows in.

They will mostly likely have a fair amount repairs and maintenance required, but you'll then become a craftsman and will never want to touch another house built between 1970-2000.
