I am looking to owner occupy a small multifamily in the very near future and am contemplating a B-class property vs. a C-class property. 

We’re currently contemplating two paths with the property.

The loan will be secured by real estate in a contemplated $100K transaction.

My wife and I where already contemplating selling to use that money in the states but if values drop tremendously I imagine I'll just hold off on that. 

I want to buy a multifamily property before I buy an apartment but I have been contemplating just sticking with SFH's after speaking to local investors who don't feel that apartments in ABQ are as good cash flowing investments as ABQ SFH's are.  

What you are contemplating is a syndication deal, assuming that they are going to be passive investors and you are going to be managing the deal.  

What I'm saying here is that as great as Bigger Pockets is, You need someone on the ground at the university you contemplate.

My team and I have also been contemplating how these new bills will affect ours and our clients' projects. 

I know you can't possibly know whats the best plan for me without knowing me but I welcome all comments of ways to meet my goal quicker or pit falls that could possibly happen with this plan I'm contemplating using.
