I'm pretty analytical, which can create analysis paralysis in my life, but I'm a quick study and pour myself into figuring things out, so I decided to pull the trigger on my 2nd property shortly thereafter.

Let me tell you, a person who has strong analytical skills and a business background can make some serious money in real estate appraisal and then take that knowledge and invest on the side.If you do not plan to do RE as a career but more as a sideline investment, then I would recommend getting yourself financially stable and get a down payment set aside and then start shopping for income properties.Good luck!

Hello, I am developing a Real Estate Analytics tool and I am looking for some Real Estate professionals (Investors, brokers, real estate agents, anyone) to test the tool and to give me feedback on how to make it better.

Heard an article on NPR last week that Google analytics was tracking people using locator software on their phones, and from about April 1 - 15 everyone was distancing pretty well, but since then they've started going out more and grouping up more.   

I am ALSO an IT guy... you will find that your analytical skill set will translate well into analyzing properties and neighborhoods.BP has a tremendous amount of information to help you, but it is only available if you seek it out.

Many are engineers and other analytical professionals.
