I want to take a moment to record my list of prospective tenants (really glad I learned how to run background checks):- 12 grams of coke with a gun, he's just out of prison- felony possession of meth with a firearm, she's just out of prison- forgery of checks, judgments from wells fargo/us bank/payday loans in the range of $1000 to $2500 each, then the last one to Kum and Go gas station for $12.53....

So not a factor) it may be more for some people… but I just did a video on my social media (instagram acct) for this subject and I was shocked to find out that a PMI is only a factor for about 5 years (bc after 5 years of owning the home : the mortgage will be paid down enough and the value (appreciation at 5% average) will go high enough that you can take off the PMI with the lender.
