In the 1980s equity sharing, or buying 1/2 a house seemed to be a solution for home ownership.

I would identify the exact problem and give a solution.

The solution may not be easy, but it is simple.

This whole "slumlord" label for people who lease out cheaper housing is one of the things that bugs me.   

Pick a name you like, or your last name, etc... and add Home Solutions, or Home Sale Solutions to the end.

There's a situation that was presented to me about twenty minutes ago that has left me searching for quality solutions.

Matt, in thousands of units and hundreds of properties I'm surprised to say I've never run into this solution. 

But once again, you don't want to 'kill a fly with a hammer' on your solution so definitely give it the due diligence it deserves with a professional.
