I find that agents are really good at giving me a listing of "predefined, database queryable" properties: 3/2 properties in x, y, z areas that are under xxxxx thousands of dollars..etc.

But I would expect a company to be up front and honest that a given city is prone to issuing violations and that X, Y and Z are cause for concern because they'll expect you to fix them quickly and they're costly repairs.

As far as obtaining more knowledge about doing real estate deals do your research on this website, read books, and if you're financially able buy a course that explains everything A to Z, etc.
