DC is extremely tenant-conscious and the city has essentially pushed the homeless problem onto property owners. 

Look at the homeless shelters in LA at $100k a unit...

Also it was full of zombie-level homeless at one time.Not far from Brentwood, about a year ago or so, homeless made cave shelter beneath the BART system.

I’ve got several that did prison time and several former homeless people that nobody would take in.

I did counseling. 40% of homeless in NY have a job but cant afford cost of living.

If I took a million homeless hobos and stuck them out in the desert, would we call that a great place of opportunity because there is a million people there?

Maybe ask (pay) the neighbor to park just inside the sidewalk (block the driveway), and put some timer lights inside the house--up on the second floor.The economy is weakening, it might just be a homeless family sleeping in their car (until the car gets repo-ed).Good Luck!

The city is hyper vigilant about recent increases in the homeless population.

Keep in mind shelters are housing providers for homeless well that word is inappropriate in some arenas so I should say the “unhoused” because someone needed change that term.
