I read an article that said a lot of people stuck at home are finding the long trendy "open plan" to be greatly annoying when everyone is actually home.

Look more closely at your local area and see what the trend is there.

Was looking for my first house at 24, after looking at 100 properties -- no joke -- it was down to a "trendy" industrial 1 bedroom loft at 7th and Washington in Philly, and a basic 2 over 1 duplex at 18th and Wharton, also in Philly.I went with my heart and not my head.

It's very trendy and sexy to get into this right now but there's alot of newbies and competition out there.

It is true the area hasn't seen much development on the commercial/retail side BUT I think in the next few years more trendy spots will come closer to campus.

We are beginning to see inflation in those countries, so I think that trend is closer to ending than it is to beginning. 

For example:I figure this MLS listed 2/2 condo in Houston is in a really trendy neighbourhood, I know because my brother lives right around the corner.
