I have read many articles with how many there are and how saturated it is.

I'm wondering if there are other metrics people use to determine market saturation?

@Daniel Ortiz The reason your best bet/the movement is outwards from the city is because Boston proper is A) too saturated with other investors/buyers/people in general and B) way too expensive.

Often the buy-in is more conducive than other more saturated markets.

I think perhaps we have hit the over saturation point, and too much inflation, people are tightening the belt

I’m also looking at starting to invest in long-term rental since the vacation rental market is saturated

It seemed like a decent rental market there, but Missoula seems to be over saturated with apartments and new condos. 

Definitely second the IUPUI area, riskier area but less saturation of investors (for now!)

Its not nearly as rental saturated as some of the other areas.
