Hi everyone, my mother has recently decided to sell a condo overseas in Risaralda, Colombia.

I spoke with a CPA and he said it would make no difference gifting my mother's home(I have PoA) into my name or my LLC in regard to taxes.

I would prefer that with these challenging times.I was raised by a single mother, we didn’t have section 8 but we were in a part of a very similar subsidized rental program.

I wonder if local zoning laws would prohibit putting in a mother-in-law suite and if that would be any different than trying to get a property approved for multi-family.

They ended up closing earlier and moving in with my mother, but if they had not then they got paid on the front end and would have lived there until both passed away. 

She is willing to sell, we already agreed to a price and all but.......she has a daughter living in the house that would not leave, talk or communicate in any ways with her mother.

idk why my mortgage guy from Bank of America says my mother can't on investment property !

@Devonta Taylor  Lots of hard work.. she started her career single mother with 3 kids selling on average one home a week in a market were homes were 50 to 100k each.. back in the day.but once you get established its a life long career.. 

My mother had 3 boys when she was 21.
