So that being said, my question is this.There is a city south of me called Pueblo, CO, according to the same site rent looks like this: 1 bedroom: $6502 bedrooms: $7653 bedrooms: $963Would it be worth it to start off living there and invest in Pueblo with the eventual goal of selling my Pueblo properties and buying a few in Colorado Springs?

Be sure to also factor in a property manager because I am assuming you will move away from there eventually and not want to manage a long distance rental.Getting contractors is sometimes tough if you are out in a smaller town as some of them have schedules booked up for months.

Remember, this would only be exercised if they failed to do their part in the first place.And do this long enough I don't care what you have in place for screening methods (mine are extremely thorough btw) you will eventually get burned.
