If you have extremely extensive net worth in depreciating assets like cars, boats, personal residence, jewelry, plane etc...  

I did once see a friend level a floor in his house by taking out the subfloor (down to the joists) and sistering them all with ones that formed a level plane for the floor.

Actually my company just rebranded because we've seen so much demand for things like yachts and planes!

I want to go to university and get a bachelors or masters, not sure if it will be related to real estate ( I was accepted in civil planing, something that greatly interests me) but I believe upon having completed this course I will be better prepared to jump into real estate investing.By the way, could you mention some Canadian Real Estate Investor books?

Being a flight attendant and having two weeks off per month woudl enable me to jump on a plane for 50$ and fly and live in sunny Florida two weeks per month.

If you have other assets, cash on deposits, securities, boats, planes, cars, trailer, tons of appraised jewelry, inventory, leases or such, then you can use a UCC to file a lien on those assets.

And don't have to hop on a plane to do it.Have you looked at locations East of San Diego or North of LA?

It sounds though, as if a plane tickets is going to be necessary at some point to see the property first hand, otherwise your risk is very high.Good luck and keep us posted!
