Most go look at Zillow and the like and then Zillow dominates that model, would like to bypass that and siphon off some of those buyers to sell a particular property. ie a listing that needs some love.When you look for agents and the like the big fancy, showing IDX sites come up.

Agents have it hard enough.There is a place for agents and there is a place for wholesalers.Wholesaling is a legitimate value to homeowners who for some reason or another other can't or don't want to list with an agent.

@Stephen Rodrigues- thanks 1) I would recommend asking for some referals for agents from people that you know in the area ( if applic) 2) if you need to use financing - get a free pre approval in place for any scenario you want to use and ask the mortgage person for a realtor referral or two to connect with 3) visit the area for an extended amount of time to get some connections cemented and also to look at some options so you can determine if this is worth proceeding with

It''s a huge time savings for agents (we see about ~15-20 hours per agent per transaction) so as soon as an agent gets to see the world once they have a TC...they rarely want to go back!
