agent threatens 3% comission

I had an agent that I worked with almost 5 months ago that was showing me properties.  It didn't work out and I ended up not working with them.  I told them we were getting out of the housing market and didn't need to look at any other houses and if we needed her we would get in touch.  We kept looking online just seeing what was out there and eventually found something several weeks later.  So we made an offer with a different agent.  That agent some how found out I was purchasing another place and is threatening 3% commission when we close even though they didn't show us the house and didn't help write the deal.  Should I seek legal representation for this, or is it totally baseless?  I contacted the companies broker already saying this was not professional and we had discontinued working with the agent.

Thanks for your input.
