Crime looks to be about double the national averages, but stable so I don't see in the numbers a spike ... just bouncing around (some up, some down ... i.e. robberies/theft/assault down, rape up slightly).

Your best outcome might be to hire a lawyer who will start using these scary legal words and get the seller to sell to you rather than face litigation, but with $100k+ on the line they may just dig their heels in.Failing that, you can try to go to the listing agent's broker, but odds are if the legal bluffing doesn't work then it's probably best to move onto the next one, especially if they aren't trying to keep your EMD.
