Phoenix software engineer with capital to invest in first 4-plex
Greetings, BP community.
It’s time to get serious. My wife and I have been saving capital for the last few years, wondering what we should do with it to make it grow. Our short term goal is to purchase a 4-plex, as we can finance it with a residential loan. We are open to other investing opportunities, but that’s our best plan so far.
I work as a software engineer and am hoping to network with folks on BP who have the real estate knowledge that I lack. What I have to offer is: A) 20 years of software development experience, and B) investment capital.
Hey, this could be fun!

Hey Mark, welcome to Bigger Pockets.
I've been lurking and reading a lot, and am in a similar situation (SW engineer in Phoenix looking for first buy and hold) as you. If you're looking to bounce ideas around, I'd love to connect with others in the area. I've found that most of my friends hate talking about investing.
There were talks of an East Valley meet up, but I think it fizzled.
