The refrigerator needs to be fixed pretty quickly, food will spoil, so unless the owner likes paying for tenant eating out.

After the police searched the building we went into the property and noticed that all of the copper (water) pipes in the basement were taken along with a stove and refrigerator from the first floor.

If I didn't have to, I wouldn't even leave the refrigerator running on it's own!"

The refrigerator and range are neither high-end nor low-end.

I don't like having these men in and our of our house every week just to repair stuff that's going to be broken again later on because they don't know what they're doing.Examples of things that need to be fixed: Front door is falling off the hinges (it's already been fixed once after over a month of us asking for it to be fixed), the swamp cooler smells like mold and we requested the filter be changed, refrigerator door has about a quarter inch gap in the door and is leaking cold air, we can't use the fan in the enclosed porch because it's off balance and we've already had the glass light cover fall off and shatter on the floor right in front of me, and kitchen sink disposal rattles the entire counter when it's turned on.

Somehow a refrigerator had been moved out to another property the tenant told them when they bought a bigger side by side but there was no notice to my parents and it didn't go to any of their units. 

Things seemed to be solved.A couple months ago, we did an inspection and found that they once again had roaches, and that they were feeding the little buggers (dirty dishes on the countertops, overflowing garbage, living in their refrigerator, eating dinner on the living room couch, not mopping up spills).We have sent them a letter telling them that they need to clean things up, and to work with the on-site manager to set up a time to admit the exterminator.  

Clean the refrigerator and stove spic & span. 

Refrigerators and stoves rarely break, and dishwashers are fairly good too.

The appliances aren't custom any refrigerator and stove will fit.
