@Rafael Dalmasi I know it says your from New Jersey, but we host a free monthly meetup in Westbury, NY mostly around Multifamily, but we bring in guest speakers fairly frequently and there are great people to network with as well in other aspects of real estate as well.

Hi, I just bought a home in Bayonne,NJ, I moved here in Dec 2016.But it has very high taxes like $16000 in 2016, it has unfinished basement.I have noticed that this tax is almost $4000 higher than similar houses with even finished basement.So, I want to try tax assessment.I will appreciate if somebody could please advise me some attorney/Lawyer for the same.I think attorney can be anywhere with in state like Hoboken, Bayonne, Union, Jersey city, Newark , Elizabeth, Clifton, Edison etc...as long as she/he has good knowledge of New jersey laws.Thanks in advance.

@Jenny Gremillion - I'm going to guess that you are talking about Louisiana where you don't have sky high property taxes like we do here in New Jersey.

The duplex is in South Jersey listed at $132,900, taxes around $5,356.

Urban New Jersey is not rural Texas.To give you a specific example, in the core Bay Area markets FHA offers on MFRs found on the MLS simply do not get accepted.

How about New Jersey?
