The $2,500 at least ensures that DHM is not dedicating time and resources to someone who struggles with homelessness and food insecurity.

@Katie Miller if I had $1 million dollars to invest I would acquire an apartment complex and convert it into section 8 housing for single parents, ex convicts (nonviolent), and veterans who struggle with being homeless.

A bit of backstory:I am homeless, jobless.

Of course, I walk around dressed like a homeless person so I'm pretty easy to recognize.

In reality most guys will stop paying at this point but it's s thing that can be pursued on your end. it's a legal protection put in place so victims of intimate partner violence can get the abuser out without fearing becoming homeless themselves.

The issue is I don't want to be homeless until then.
