(If you like the post make sure to hit the VOTE button so I know I am not just doing this to keep myself busy:) )Anyway, rehab costs of the interior of a unit range between about $3000 for Carpet & paint, cabinet refinishing and new Formica counter tops.You can easily take it to over 10K if you want to put in tile, replace all cabinets, add stainless appliances, square decora switches and plugs, put in granite counter tops and rebuild the kitchen fluorescent tube box into recessed lighting and put in a new bathroom.

Specifically on hardwood floor wear & tear vs. excessive damage.I just refinished the entire hardwood flooring on my rental a year ago and it was brand new right before the tenants moved in.

I’ve heard that for non covered every 4-5 years and for covered 6-7. That sound right? Curious what others due in terms of frequency of checking decks for loose nails, damaged plans etc as well.

When you are selling something, you just want to have what all the buyers are looking for, and that is granite slab.Regarding Corian, not only does it get scratched, but it is expensive to get someone to come and refinish it so the theory that the scratches can be removed is not a practical one unless you know how to do it yourself.
